MANAYUNK
Suddenly, we heard something we weren’t ready for. Off to the east,
we could hear the blare of the train, as it approached the trestle. Looking that
direction, we could see it as it started across. I looked in the other
direction, the way we had come, and knew that we couldn’t make it to the end,
before the train would catch us.

The stallion was stretched out. His ears were laid back, and his nostrils were wide open, as he gulped air. His eyes were scary.

That old six cylinder started to scream. I looked down at the speedometer, and saw I was hitting 90 M.P.H., and climbing. I pushed it even further. When I hit 110, she let loose, and the Camaro disappeared in the distance.
